I keep returning to these inquiries about human intimacy—What we do to each other. What we do for each other. What we long for permission to experience.

My work explores erotic exchange through rituals such as kink and Shibari. In these subversive practices I express my own resistance to being civilized. They offer a container to honor what we’re taught to hide: submission, pleasure, longing, pain, perversion.
